I've been a devoted Standard Textile customer for many years. When my old ST sheets needed a refresh (due to accidental bleaching-my fault), I ordered the same ones to replace them. Same sheet set, same color. The new sheets arrived, they were beautiful as expected. I laundered them and put them on the bed. They are not soft like the old ones. The new sheets feel like I'm sleeping on a scratchy burlap sack. They actually hurt my skin. The old ones were soft and felt like silk. These are scratchy. Maybe the wrong item was placed in the box, I don't know. But I hate the new version of these sheets.
