Not worth what I paid. Chicken soup was good but there is not enough chicken in it. Triple chocolate chip are very good. The rolls are awful, even after toasting them and adding butter. Will not purchase again. This was very disappointing given a 4. 8 star average review.

I received this beautiful package as a thank you from my boss for Administrative Professionals Day and it definitely sent the right message. What beautiful packaging and delicious food! It was such a treat to come home from work and be able to quickly heat up a truly delicious meal. My husband loved it, too. There’s just 2 of us, but there was enough food (and delicious cookies!) to easily feed a family of 4. Now I’m going to send a box to my mom for Mother’s Day. Thank you for such a wonderful service!

I ordered the after surgery care kit with the bell and a throw added for my daughter-in-law following major hip impingement correction surgery. Personally I thought it was a little pricey. However, after both her and my son’s reaction to the package, it was worth every penny. They very carefully opened each individual box, read all the quotes, and were just thrilled with it. My son said it was very cute and better designed/presented that anything similar he had ever seen. Even their teen daughters loved seeing their mom enjoying opening the individual boxes. My daughter-in-law said the snickerdoodle cookies were soft and delicious. She washed the throw last night and is using it today. Perfect. When you can’t be there to help a loved one, this is the best way to show them you love and care.

After submitting my order I realized I had misentered the address. I was very distraught and concerned that my gift would not be delivered. Judith in customer service saved the day!!!! The address was updated and the package was delivered to the intended recipient. In addition, my friend had wonderful things to say about the gift and how thoughtful it was. She has 2 small children, so the Mac n cheese and chicken noodle combo was perfect for them. All of the little details, such as reusable packaging are appreciated. Thank you to everyone for the care that is put into each product.

Sent a box out a friend who wasn’t doing well but when the box ice pack melted so it wasn’t safe to eat but after my friend contacted the company they sent another box out right away. I appreciate that you did that and they enjoyed everything they got. I will be sending another one out soon. Again thank you very much

One is never quite sure with @specialty” meals😉 Sent the gluten-free package to our GF daughter, son-in-law and 2 little grandgirls. They LOVED everything- the youngest 1-1/2 year old actually ate the carrots and *licked* the bowl clean🤣🤣🤣 Daughter said everything was very delicious, and they were so appreciative saving just moved to snowy UT. Had to share this. Don’t hesitate to order gluten-free!!

In January, I had back surgery for a ruptured disc. I live alone, except for my two dogs, and while neighbors were kind enough to bring meals to me, the biggest surprise was receiving this package from a dear friend. Chicken noodle soup and garden vegetable soup, rolls, cookies, and that lovely ladle. A complete surprise and everything was delicious. Just about a month ago, I found out that a neighbor, I don’t know too well, was having family problems upon family problems! Since I don’t know her well, I took a guess at the soup flavors and chose the gluten option. Turns out they do have gluten intolerant kids, they loved the soups and everything that accompanied them. It was a welcome surprise and relief to this family who has just gone through so much. I was concerned about delivery because the family has been in and out of the hospital while trying to work and has a crazy schedule, but I called customer service and they were able to send me assurance that the package was delivered, put in a safe place on the porch, and the family got it finding that it was still cold.

I sent a package to my friend going there chemo. I bought additional soups. She wasn’t eating but when the package arrived she immediately had the chicken soup and cookies. It’s packaged beautifully and arrived in two days. I will definitely order again

Don’t expect your package to arrive a a few days out of surgery and ready for a nice surprise. Expected to arrive another 9 days from now. Total bummer. It might be a nice package, but who cares when you’re halfway healed

I had a soup package delivered about a month ago. It was very good, but I was a bit deceived by the size of cookies and rolls the amounts in the chicken noodle soup compared with your advertising. I was sent a cookie package for Easter 2 dozen. One dozen was chocolate chip which I chose for my soup package. They were not the same cookies! They were flatter than ever and crumbly. The soup pkg choc chip were delicious and thicker, not like the ads but enjoyed the soup pkg. I wish it wasn’t so expensive.

After receiving our Spoonful of Comfort from my sister, and loving it so much, we have sent 4 of our own care packages out. Even picky eaters will love their soups, bread rolls, and cookies. When 1 order was delayed, probably because the address is way out in the country, they immediately took care of it. Superior customer service. I will definitely be sending out more of these marvelous gift packages. Worth every cent. Your gift will be appreciated.

I decided to purchase the chicken noodle soup packages. I bought two and froze a set. The soup was almost tasteless. I don’t know what kind if noodles you Used but they tasted like paper. You need more good noodles in this soup. Very bland. Needs salt. For the price I gave it only one star. I did like the ladle.

My husband was recently hospitalized for 10 days. We were both exhausted when he was discharged. The package from Spoonful of Comfort arrived the day he got home. It was so beautiful to unpack and everything in the package was delicious. It was the nicest most delicious gift anyone could have done for us from afar.

I ordered the package for myself first to try it out prior to sending it out. I ordered two different soup types and tried the vegetable first which was good but heavy in corn. My husband like it because it had a peppery taste which he liked, my 95 yo mom thought it had too much spice I thought that it was flavored well. The rolls were good and the chocolate chip cookies were chewy. We also ordered the chicken and rice which we plan to use within 5 days as suggested. One frustrating thing was that we wanted to order chicken noodle and chicken and rice however it wasn’t possible. Another review will come after we try the chicken and rice.

My daughter-in-law recently had a double mastectomy. Sent her and my son the two soup package. They were so impressed! They said that everything tasted homemade. They live in Houston and I am located in Arizona. Thank you for helping me take care of my kids!

I received not one but three packages from clients while I was recovering from surgery. The soups were tasty and the cookies were so amazing! My appetite was the best and this is just what I needed for nutrition and comfort the first few weeks home.

I received this from a wonderful friend of mine. I have to say it was delicious! I never received anything like this and was definitely surprised. Everything was well packaged. The soup was delicious, as were the biscuits and cookies. I would definitely recommend this and will order from them in the future.
