Overall I had a good experience with Spartan Armor Systems. I got the Spartan DL plate carrier for use at The Tactical Games. The design, build quality and materials are really good for what I'm going to use it for. However, I did have to rip the stitches out of the shoulder straps where they connect to the carrier so I could change the angle they come off the carrier. As it comes, the shoulder straps are WAY too angled toward the outside of your shoulder, putting weight much further from your neck than they should. I changed the angle to make the straps much more vertical so they land much closer to my neck which is far more ergonomical. Maybe something for SAS to consider when they design their next carrier.

Very happy with my purchase. This armor seems very durable. It is a little heavy but that’s ok, I know the plates won’t expire like the lighter softer armor plates.

Purchased the base forca dueling tree worked out great. Very well made and easy to set up and tear down
