No fungus gnats, no hydrophobic soil, beautiful aesthetic appeal. Sol soils potting mixes are the only mixes I’ll purchase for my plants. Their bonsai mix keeps my ginseng ficus and dioscorea healthy, their succulent mix is the only soil that’s ever kept my aloe plants alive, and it’s so easy to repot. I recommend this soil for plant beginners, those with issues overwatering, etc. The shipping and handling time is always 1-3 days for me.

This product brought my cutting of a Kalanchoe Blossfeldia back to life after I used another succulent brand. I needed something to help with the shock of repotting my cutting from March. Thank you Sol Soils.

Used the Chucky house plant for 10 different plants they are thriving in this soil, several I just used as a topper or mixed in to save on costs, it was wonderful. Drove out to a nursery on SS website that was supposed to sell the soil, they had none, and didn’t know about SS. Long drive for nothing, will order online instead next time.

I was really impressed when I opened the bag of chunky soil mix, but after using it to repot 2 plants, I noticed that the bottom 1/2 to 1/3 of the bag was basically pulverized crumbs. Feel like I overpaid for a bag of chunky soil mix when 1/2 to 1/3 of it is unusable.
