I used whatever sponge I could over the years. I figured it was the products that made things clean. Then I got Skura sponges. By using this sponge, I was able to remove some baked in, stubbon stains on my stove top that I gave up on removing. I now use them in my kitchen and bathroom and what a difference! I have already told friends who value cleaning to get these sponges. Best ever! And I originally got them because they indicated when they needed to be replaced. But they are truly amazing! I can't wait to use the other products.
