Staff communication was great when I was inquiring about your backpack line . I was extremely excited when they went on sale so I ordered the large one. Shipping was quick, but never quick enough. Only in anticipation… it did arrive a day early which was great. When my package arrived I was a disappointed with the overall quality of the product right away, enough that I shipped it back the same day. The why: the pockets on the exterior are to small to fit anything useful, the padding was so thick and didn’t fit right and is a sweat factory waiting to happen, the shouldering system are narrow and uncomfortable and the materials aren’t what I expected and isn’t the quality of gear I am use to, I truly believe that there is a market for these but it isn’t for me and the rigorous seasons here in Montana . As far as the overall experience, I only have one major problem. It’s that is the return shipping burden is on me and the refund is not as fast as it should be. I followed the UPS tracking updates right to the front desk receipt and that’s where it stopped. . no further updates from there. I would like to try some of the clothing line but I’m still waiting for this transaction to complete.

I have bought a few items from Skregear and I have had to return a pair of pants once, due to sizing. Skre was great at facilitating that exchange. I have introduced Skregear to my son's and they keep an eye out for Skre sales. I think that the front hand zippers on the Kodiak pants need to be converted to a flap with snaps, just like the old military cold weather pants. The flap can be pushed inside the pocket if not used and snapped shut for secure items. The zippers are secure but my hands are big and Im afraid I'll tear the zippers with repeated use.
