High quality products, but their service needs some improving
I placed an order for 3 items on Nov 25th. A delivery was received within a few days, but only 2 of the items were enclosed. I sent an email on Dec 1st, inquiring about the missing item. Initially I received a template response on Dec 4th, which was not specific to my inquiry. I emailed again that same day and re-explained that I had received a delivery, but that an item was not enclosed. On Dec 5th, I received a response from customer support, stating that the missing item would be shipped that same day, and that I would receive an email once the item had shipped. After waiting several weeks, I sent another email on Dec 20th regarding the missing item, which had still not been received. I was advised that same day that the missing item had been delivered on Dec 18th when it had not been. I was sent a picture as proof of delivery with no package in it. After contacting customer support again, another shipment was sent to me right away, which was finally delivered on Dec 30th. Of the 3 "shipments", a shipment email confirmation (with tracking details) was only sent for the final delivery, despite being told that I would receive an email with tracking details for my order, and yes, I regularly check my junk mail folder. Their products are of excellent quality, but their service, communication, and efforts to understand inquiries and address specific customer concerns in their responses is lacking and needs improvement. They never communicated to me that my initial order had shipped, or that the third item would ship separately or at all. I had to take the initiative to inquire about why the third item was not received and had to follow-up several times. Although their customer service were nice, I just felt like they didn't appreciate my concerns until the very last communication. For example: - My requests to be escalated to a supervisor were not fulfilled. - My feedback regarding not receiving emails with tracking numbers was not acknowledged in their re...

Proprietary USB charge cable is not making human lives simpler
I’ve had several generations of this product and recently decided to replace two of them. I was disappointed to see a proprietary USB charge cable is required. My previous unit used a micro USB which pretty much every house has. I would have expected a USB C interface, but no. So now i have to lug around some one off cable to recharge these devices. Poor design decision. Had I known this prior, I would not have purchased.

4 months late

I asked if that meant they will reimburse the payment I made 4 months ago, the answer was that wasn't what they meant. Furthermore the price of the order was significantly less at the time they actually sent is compared to what I paid 4 months ago. I used simplehuman products for a very long time. This is not what I expected from them. This is not simple.

Finally pulled the trigger to get the floor-to-ceiling shower caddie. It's very solid. One of the hooks broke in transit, and SimpleHuman shipped a replacement part right away. Really happy with the purchase!
