I Fall a lot (skating, cycling) S1 helmets are the best helmet to have in the worst moments. I have fallen in other helmets and oof, never again. Fell off my bike and hit my head yesterday (unexpected squirrel) and the S1 retro helmet padding cushioned my head well.

we’d purchase from them again

I bought these because I liked the color, and my other set of pads are too big for me. I can’t say if they will work for park skating, or for other skating, but these should not be used for derby. I used them during a scrimmage, and I came back with bruised knees and elbows. I will say I was wearing 187 Killers before these, so maybe I am just used to thicker padding.

Used the sizing chart and helmet fits perfectly. Very well made and comfortable.

I wanted a helmet with a bit of a brim and S1 hooks it up! Fits great and helps keep the sun out of my eyes in the bowl. Fully certified protection for my melon!

I was nervous about going from a regular s-1 lifer to the visor, but it’s a pretty smooth switch. Lots of flexibility and adjustability with the interior padding, but feels exactly the same as the helmet I’m used to. Excited to keep playing in it! And it shipped super quick

The helmet didn't fit and the mega doesn't have any color I like. I don't have a big head so it's a bit confusing the regular S1 didn't fit.
