Terry helmet liner are a must!!

I was having difficulty deciding on what size pro knee pads to get my 6 yr old. The park and shred pads give measurements while the pro pads use weight. I reached out with my son’s measurements to help determine kid vs youth pro pads. The response was quick and the youth fit him perfectly when they arrived. If you wear out the original caps that came on your S-One knee pads, these recaps are what you need - a perfect fit, with good durability. No complaints.

As a newbie skater who needed protection for both indoor and outdoor rollerskating, I’ve tried a couple different kinds of pads. The first were part of a triple eight value pack. They are fine but I weigh a lot and I’m also over 40 so I knew I’d need something heavier for the knees. Next up were 187 Pro Pads. Those are well constructed but GIANT on my short legs. Finally, I tried the s1’s and they are perfect. I’ve taken a couple spills already and they have provided excellent impact absorption. 10/10 would recommend

S1 came up after searching for “the best helmets” for my daughters aged 7 and 10.
