I used it to record my athletes in training and competition. The way it handles has help improve my capabilities for capturing and assessing their performances.

Great for content creation! I needed something to give me a more "professional" look for events, while providing additional battery life. This fit the bill perfectly! The trigger on the front is a nice addition, too. Feel comfortable in hand - absolutely love this! The battery died on it 3/4 way through a wedding - but still testing it's longevity. I was able to roll with a full battery on my phone after it died and finished out the event!

Product: This is my 2nd ShiftCam Pro Grip. Nothing wrong with the previous one. I just gave it to my wife. Quality of this latest version is just as solid as the previous model. With the addition of the end-hooks to support the bottom of my iPhone 17 Pro Max, it’s more secure than the old one (preventing the phone from rarely sliding downwards). The Pro Grip has been my current choice of photography for traveling, despite my old Canon gear with heavy lenses. I’ve been getting great comments on it from my fellow travellers. Customer support: Swift responses! Handled every question and concern that I had with the shipment of my purchase. It is one of the best customer services that I’ve dealt with in the last 5 years, no doubt!

I opted for the free shipping option. While I was not in a rush to receive the products ordered, it did take several weeks to receive both items. Shift Cam did keep me posted as to the status of the shipping. The longest segment was shipping the items to Hawaii from the West Coast USA. .

My second purchase… the first was for my iPhone 14 Pro Max. The second is for my 17 pro max. And each time the rubber stripping on the s mount looses its adhesive rubber

Case is great but the shift cam system is worthless

Strap was kind of bulky and awkward, and the portio that goes into the phone case was too thick and did not allow the phone case to properly re-seal around the phone, rendering it useless.

It is nearly impossible to match up your adapter to the lenses on your phone because when you tighten it down, the adapter moves. Not happy with it at all as a matter of fact, I’m not happy with any of the products I purchased from shift cam. I purchased two of the macro lenses and the super wide fish eye. The macro lens do not work with my phone as I cannot get the camera on my phone to accept the fact that it has the macro lens attached. I asked about shipping back all the product because I was not happy with it, found out that there is a 25% restocking fee and I have to pay for shipping back to the company. So I have basically wasted $600 and I’m not happy about it.

After a week-long trip to the Galapagos Islands, the Progrip proved to be a valuable tool for carrying and taking pictures. The grip was very comfortable, a significant benefit for someone with arthritis, and it allowed for easy switching between horizontal and vertical views. However, there were some drawbacks. The shutter button was slow to activate in burst mode, the handheld grip's strap came entirely undone twice as I was hiking, and the phone holder did not feel completely secure, possibly due to my phone's thick case, which resulted in the phone falling out once. Also, I was required to pay a tariff of $26. 97 to UPS before my product, shipped from Hong Kong, could be delivered. This additional fee was not communicated to me at any point during the purchase (9/2025). Despite these issues, the product was worth the purchase as it successfully met the primary needs of providing a comfortable way to carry a phone and take photos.

The lens is compact and the image quality is super. It fits perfectly on my iPhone 15 Pro with an S mount case.

I upgraded to the ProGrip and find it much more comfortable to use than the (still helpful) SnapGrip. I also find the Bluetooth in the ProGrip to work more reliably. I’m also really like the cold foot attachment option, and my ability to add the light or mic that I want in a perfect placement. All-in-all, an excellent design and very high quality.
