This knife sharpener is awesome. I just bought 2 more to keep with me in my car, home, and camping gear. The video showing you how to use it is great.

When I received my package, the honing rod was missing and there was a small hole in the envelope. They had a replacement in the mail the same day I made the claim. Excellent customer service! The tool itself is not as intuitive as the experienced Pro's make it look. There IS a learning curve involved. So, unless you get lucky, don't expect to be shaving paper like a Samurai. That's unlikely to happen at first. I'd suggest getting some crappy old knives that are essentially useless and practicing on those to build the necessary skill and control. Get different size knives since the blade angles will vary from paring to chef. I'm still learning. There is potential in the tool. I just have to master it.

I use this once a week on my EDC knife and it keeps it super sharp. Love it

Honestly you would think how simple it is, you could just take off and go. Not the case. I had to watch the video closely to understand where to exactly put the blade at what angle. Once I figured it out and held my mouth right, yes it’s very good.
