After using another backpack blower for 12 years (echo), I wanted to replace it with something of equal or better quality. After a lot of research and comparison I settled on Schroder. PLUS, I took advantage of their coupon and free shipping at the time. Blower arrived in 2 days. Assembly was minimal to say the least. Quality is exceptional at this price point and I'm impressed with the build overall. The good / great news. . . this was 3 lbs lighter than my previous blower, yet produced almost 2x the power, CFM 450 v almost 900. I added fuel and it started up quickly with no issues. Pleasantly surprised at how quiet it is, much quieter than the echo. Nice deep sound, like there's power lurking behind the throttle. Some reviewers stated they had trouble starting the motor when hot. I found no issues at all, no problems. Hot, cold or warm, starting is a breeze. Controls are easy, blower output tubes anchor with a set screw so you don't have to worry about them coming off. The icing on the cake, spare parts, tool kit and mixing bottle for fuel. Again, wonderful product. Exceptional value. My brother spent 2x for a pro-grade blower that rhymes with steel, yet it isn't as powerful and weighs much more. Thanks Schroder for bring this product to us. Well done. Did I mention the great warranty and quick shipping, discount coupon and exceptional quality. . . . I just did.

Assembling the 6400L backpack leaf blower was quick and helped me to become familiar with the design of the machine. The 230 mph air speed is a game-changer for us. Wow! What power in removing the debris from the barn area, pavement, and sidewalks! Thanks for the quality craftsmanship of this leaf blower. It’s perfect for our family’s needs.

My husband birthday was coming up and he always wanted one of these blower. . . he loved it, easy to use and so powerful. What used to take him hours it now takes him 30 minutes. Solid construction and well made. .

Good machine until it gets older. Runs good for awhile then bogs out then runs good then bogs out. Tried once to contact Schroder but no return email. . If your machine won't start, it is likely the piston ring seized to piston. Piston has to be removed and ring replaced or cleaned. Second time contacting Schroder will see if they return my email inquiry.

When I saw the product on line never heard of schroder I was afraid to purchase it but I took a chance. In the advertisement ad it stated two day delivery I received my order much later. I contacted the nu. ber provided and was told rudely that the company was closed Christmas day that was the reason for the delay. I didn't have a problem with that knowing people have families I think that sale after the service is very important and a customer should have been spoken to with respect.
