I have always had very positive experiences purchasing fiber from Paradise. The fiber was really wonderful, but the purchasing experience this round was rather awkward. The fiber was backordered, even though the website listed quite a bit of it. It happens, but the communications of the backorder and how to remedy it left me wondering if the computers were down at the company, the right hand and the left were clearly not communicating and the customer service person I spoke to on the phone was short and not very interested in helping me . That said, my beautiful fiber arrived, (in 2 parts due to the backorder) and all worked out fine in the end. A wonderful fiber purchase, but not one where Paradise showed off its normally great service to go along with it.

When I ordered the yarn, it indicated it was on back order, but it came within a few days.

Wow--very fast service. I first ordered 2 'cakes' of Gradient DK Weight by Done Roving Frolicking feet for a test knit of a shawl. Then I found out that this Done Roving had 350 yards instead of 450 yards that was called for in the yarn suggested in the pattern-Done Roving MONOCHROMATIC Frolicking Feet so I needed another 'cake'. I ordered this and also three 'cakes' of another colorway on a Tues. and it arrived on Thurs.--just in time for me to take it with me on a yarn retreat that started on Fri. I really needed to get going on this test knit. Their service is great and always has been.
