The gorgeous herringbone fabric lifts this above the more plain alternatives which can look a bit too utilitarian for my tastes. Nice design details. I particularly like the extra horizontal hand pockets.

It feels like Reworked 348 are the future, in a big way, because they also feel like the past. They do things properly, making things by hand, using well chosen materials and techniques and operating in a way that feels like a local well trusted shop. It's the opposite of what major fashion brands do - it is considered throughout, every touch point is specifically thought though and finessed. They make simple things very well, and they are doing all of this without a negative impact, environmentally. This is the holy grail of clothing. It is obvious that I am a believer, but that is only because it is all backed up by quality. I now own 11 items from R348, and they are all standing up very well to heavy use (it is rare I go a day without wearing one of them), and they still look great. A couple of pieces (a CRD jacket and an overshirt, both of which I have had for around 9 months) have received more compliments than anything else I have ever worn in my 43 years to date. The only downside is that as they become more successful, it'll be harder for me to get my hands on new items from their small batch production.
