I recently bought a pair of American Optical sunglasses that were supposed to have polarized lens . I tried to get American Optical to replace the lenses but they declined to replace them for free but offered to replace them for $200. 00 plus shipping. I stumbled across Revant Optical on line and I am I glad I did. I had Revant replace my lenses for $79. 00 with free shipping. They replaced my lenses very quickly and they are perfect! I ordered a few different replacement lenses for my Spartan Reef (Maui Jim) sunglasses that previously had prescription lenses in them. MJ stopped making these frames and hence they stopped selling lenses for this frame too. I was happy to find a company like Revant that could offer replacement lenses for these frames (which are my all time favorite sunglasses frames). Lenses were easy to install and look great. There are no gaps and the Revant lenses come in a variety of colors and tints. I was able to find a tint that I can use for golfing. Additionally, the sunglasses case is a nice addition and protects my MJ sunglasses while allowing me to carry an extra set (or 2) of lenses.

I just received replacement lenses for my Oakley Crankshaft sunglasses. One lense was easy to replace while the other took more time and force to get it seated. So far I am happy with them but I just installed them. Only time will tell if they hold up to the quality standards but I am hopeful.

About half the price of replacing through RayBan (polarized), and while the lenses are plastic and not glass, it does have the benefit of making the sunglasses much lighter.

I recently had cataract surgery on both eyes. This totally negated my need for corrective bifocal sunglasses. I had two pair of Ray Ban sunglasses that I hated not being able to use.
