We hired a sat phone for use on our Cape York trip. Family members were unable to contact us and were given a line busy message and we later received missed call notification. We were unable to sms at all. A total waste of money and would appreciate a full refund.

Sat phone in outback
It was one of the device handy in remote outback. Once went on unseal road got lost, but didn’t require to use it as we found our way back. Peace of mind.
