Exemplary Customer Service

I am very pleased with the Rab repair to my down jacket. A friendly dog had ripped the sleeve. I'd tried to sew up the tear but the repair gave way and it was shedding feathers. So, I secured it for the time being with the inevitable black masking tape. This did the job but was most unsightly and eventually, it started to peel off. I finally got round to sending my jacket to Rab's repairs department. The ordering system, where you declare what needs repairing, is simple to use. They sent a prepaid label in the post. The only thing I do wonder is why the postal label couldn't be printed at home? This would save waiting for the label from Rab arriving in the post. The communication from Rab was great. I received emails about where my repair was in the system. Rachel covered three sections of the sleeve and blended the stitching. The fabric she used was a very slightly different colour but unless you know it is there, the repair is virtually invisible. I would highly recommend using Rab's repair service to give your new Rab equipment a new lease if life. The repair cost only £23, including postage both ways. A very satisfying mend! I sent a jacket to Arab to have the pocket zipper replaced. It was back within 2 weeks and I could not tell which pocket had been repaired. An excellent job. And o did like the all paper packaging.
