Bitter after taste

I cannot say how thankful I am to have found Queen St Bakery’s chia bread. It has no sweetener added and low-sugar flours, something I couldn’t find anywhere else. I’m working with a naturopath to recover from horrendous physical and mental health challenges and craved the gummy feel of bread while eating stricter-than-keto to recover. This chia bread has been such a grace in texture and flavour to enjoy (mental health boost!) while on such a restrictive diet. I regularly buy out my local store.

I purchased bread, bagels and english muffins. I agree with other reviews these breads have a bitter aftertaste. With two Celiac daughters always looking for quality gluten free products. Maybe it’s the sorghum flour but we much prefer the Promise line of gluten free breads.

Wow, I’ve tried so many gluten free breads and most of them leave me hungry an hour later and are not filling. They’re usually higher in sugar, low in fiber, and a lot of them contain eggs. I have other allergies that make even some vegan options hard for me to tolerate, so finding a bread that actually works for me has been really challenging. This bread, and I have to admit it tastes even better toasted, is glorious. I love the texture and flavor and how filling it is. I was worried the fiber might be too much for me, but I haven’t had any digestive issues at all. I truly love this bread and try to stock up whenever I see it. I really hope I can always find it. Thank you for making it.

Tried the new sourdough this weekend. Just like all Queen Street products it tastes wonderful.

Shipping was great in terms of getting here intact. I see why you used foam, but not a fan of styrofoam

yummy GF bagels!! So many are hard and tasteless not these!
