I am a fan of Positive Grid products and I'm completely satisfied with everything they have to offer.

I ordered a Spark 2 from Amazon and canceled it within 15 min. My family then orders a second one directly from Positive Grid. I even emailed both Amazon and Positive Grid about the double order, with no response from either!! Both items ended up being shipped within 4 days Although one should have been cancelled. Regardless I was charged for both. I had to return one and pay for it to be shipped back although the order was canceled before it was processed. Its been several weeks and no refund has been given! The claim is they are still waiting for the return item. Although I have proof of delivery. I do like the Spark as a learning and practice tool. It meets all and more than expected for its capabilities. Plug it in to good monitor speakers and you have an excellent sounding Amp. Sadly customer service needs improving and perhaps a phone number to communicate directly.

Very handy. Love the whole “no cords” game. Awesome. And yet…. Sometimes the connection with the amp is a bit glitchy. Connecting directly with the app SEEMS like it’s supposed to be possible, but I have never been able to pull that off. The REAL disappointment though was trying to use an expression pedal for volume control. I got an “approved style” (M-Audio exp pedal) and it was a complete disaster. Holy smokes. EXTREMELY choppy when it did work (unusable) and would occasionally override ALL volume settings and blast directly to FULL VOLUME (regardless of specific channel setting). Yikes. Big fail. After trying a couple different fixes (all failed) I eventually just abandoned the whole attempt, but upon unplugging the exp pedal the last time, the whole Control X froze! Non responsive. Had to figure out how to do a manual reset (involves taking off the rubber cover) Aside from that, I do think it’s great, but mayyyy just need some tweaking before I’d consider using it for a gig - at least with an expression pedal.
