I tried PATTERN for the first time by purchasing a large Leave in conditioner, Breakage Hair Mask, and the Palo Santo Styling Cream because I couldn't get my hands on a previous brand that I thought would be my Holy Grail! I also chose the Intensive Conditioner as the sample with order. WOW, WOW, WOW!! I have never seen curls and coils in my hair to that extent before. EVER!!! Needless to say, I doubled back and purchased pretty much every other product PATTERN offers, plus styling tools. I am very happy with all the tools and products I purchased, and am excited to see where the products take my hair!

Supporting a black owned brand nowadays is pivotal for me BUT Patterns delivery time is too long. It took 2 weeks from order to actual delivery, which is too long of a delivery time in 2026! Strongly suggest using USPS or Fedex from beginning to end to get better shipment times that would provide your product to the customer sooner. DHL took so long just to handoff the product to USPS. this timeframe discouraged me from thinking about additional orders.

My supervisor recommended this brand to me many, many months ago. However, it took me quite a while before I made a purchase because I was so skeptical of the reviews and the price. When Black Friday rolled around, I decided to go for it and bought the Palo Santo set. I've been using it for two months now and the results have been so jaw dropping, I was moved to tears the first time I noticed. I'm Nigerian and my hair is the kind of 4c (thick, coarse, ungovernable) hair that often feels like a Brillo pad. I've started seeing something I NEVER in all my life imagined was possible for my hair--definition. The scream that I scrumpt the first time I spied not one, not two, but a handful of curls/coils, was probably heard by the Lord Himself. For the first time in my life, I'm enjoying my hair—I'm looking forward to wash, co-wash days, and twist out days because doing my hair is no longer a chore, but a fun self-care routine. My hair no longer feels like digging through a forest of knives and I'm seeing growth and volume that hundreds of products have promised but never delivered.
