The new amps are really really good. I received my Starkrimson 25 Mono Premiums back from Orchard after sending in my OG Mono Premiums for the upgrade. I am confident in saying that with the new 25s the soundstage opened up a little in my room, imaging improved in terms of placement of voices and instruments, and everything is a little more dynamic and alive. I really enjoyed the OG Mono Premiums but these are definitely a step up. The really nice surprise with the 25 upgrade -- in addition to sounding great -- is that there's now light inside the amp. When the amp is on you can see a red glow (assuming LED) through the top vents of the amp. The OG Mono amps had no lights at all and the position of the switch was the only way to know if they were off/on -- aside from when they were playing music. It's a small thing but good to know Leo is incorporating customer feedback into new designs. Orchard delivers a fine amp in timely fashion. I look forward to their future developments, esp in Class D

I cant say I had many class D amps in the past but compared to even some very excellent class D amps years ago that I use to own I think this new GAN tech really makes a difference and hence worth looking. Sound is subjective but to me this amp holds up very well to my Kinki monoblocks and parasound AB power amplifers. The tightness in bass is the biggest improvement from my other amps plus the small compact size and universal voltage are other quality of life improvements I get with this product.

Instructions for shipping my amps were given same day when I ordered in the morning. My upgraded amps came back just days later very well packed in the shipping box I used to send them out to Orchard Audio. I love that Orchard Audio continues to offer user-selectable gain options via the jumpers on board. The lower gain selection is perfect for my source chain. Great experience, as always, with Leo!

Some glitch in my system fried both Starkrimson Mono’s shortly after installing directly from Gesgelli J3 DAC with XLR cables. Leo warranted both amps and upgraded them to the Starkrimson 25 mono premiums, for a small fee. Needless to say I’m VERY happy with Orchards’s customer service.
