What an amazing trip-of-a-lifetime !!! I was so fortunate to be in a group with wonderfully compatible people and a fabulous guide who took very good care of us !!!

The whole trip was excellent, and I would like to make a special shout out to our trip leader Wallace Gwatidzo who make our trip exceptional. All of the camps and hotels were well maintained and the staff were efficient and friendly. I especially enjoyed the day we visited the elementary school, as the students were warm, friendly and a total delight.

Five brave women persisted on this wonderful tour until we had to return home due to the Coronavirus scare. We had such a fantastic guide to share his Israeli knowledge, rearrange our daily plans when needed, and have fun with us! Ilan even had us to his apartment for a delicious Shabbat dinner and his vivacious, very positive mother came in to tell us about her experience of surviving the Holocaust. Our excellent, small bus driver,Moshe, invited us to his home too for homemade treats made by his wife. Even though our tour was cut short by 6 days, we all felt we had the best guide and memorable time in Israel learning about the history, religions with its' conflicts and progressive economy.

people had said they like the northern India trip better than the southern, but we were very pleasantly surprised with the southern one. The people were friendly and the sights interesting. The houseboat trip was great. Things were clean and the cities were fun. The only minor downside was that there might have been a little too much free time. We highly recommend it.

Fantastic trip!

We saw many parts of Costa Rica in just a couple weeks, and experienced things that an ordinary tourist would not have access to. The trip leader, Vinnie, was absolutely outstanding. He made the trip enjoyable and educational. He's a veritable walking encyclopedia of information on the flora and fauna of Costa Rica. Easy-going, great sense of humor, clear leadership ability, made sure everyone was taken care of.

This trip was incredible in spite of extremely challenging times with Covid19 I credit the professional leaders and guides that we were so fortunate to have as making this trip very special The sights and experiences we encountered in every country were fantastic, unique and entertaining. I loved having the opportunities to speak and interact with local and “real” citizens from these fascinating countries. The political insights and history presented by our enthusiastic guides was so eye opening! I feel so lucky to have had this experience and credit OAT with handling a very horrible situation with grace and professionalism,

All my senses were awakened on this trip. It was a whirlwind of experiences. I enjoyed the food, the people and the countryside. All modes of transportation were used, like rickshaw, back of old farm truck, bus, train and airplanes!!! The people were so friendly and always ready to help! We had the Beat tour director!!!

I read through the trip itinerary dozens of times before I left home. I read travel books. But I was still surprised and delighted with what we saw and experienced EVERY DAY of this adventure. It was so much MORE than the itinerary. We were truly treated like "guests" the whole time and every request was addressed and met. Each day was new and exciting. The thread that bound us together, though, was our exceptional TEL, Tee Bui. He was so much more than an inspired leader -- he was our friend, with no exceptions. What an ambassador for Viet Nam! All of us will have a different "take" on what we experienced but we all feel a very personal connection with the people and country of Viet Nam because of Tee.

Our main guide Luis was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Can’t say enough about him. Our other guides were also very good. The itinerary was well planned and the weather was unusually good. We were very lucky in that regard. It was definitely one of the best trips we’ve taken, but that’s what we’ve come to expect from OAT.

I was so pleased with absolutely everything. I learned a lot about Chile and Argentina, both history,politics and nature. It was fascinating to see the wildlife ,especially the guanacos and the penguins. Sad to hear about the fate of the original population. Our guides were all very knowledgeable,communicative and friendly, and our special tour guide Luis Percker was fantastic. So kind , personal and yet professional. The food was wonderful and the ship and hotels too.

This was my first time touring with Grand Circle and I was very pleased with the itinerary and especially our trip leader Victor. He was so knowledgeable and interesting to listen to as we drove to each city and site. He had a great sense of humor that made the trip very enjoyable. The city tour guides were also very good.

This is a tour which provides a very rich historical, cultural, religious, political experience. To be able to visit the land which has a history of existence and human life from the very beginning thousands of years ago makes one feels in awe and humbled. The visits to City of David, the caves, the Dead sea, Sea of Galilee, the Judean Desert, Masada, Bethlehem, Jerusalem, all brought biblical history to life. Then there were opportunities to converse with people from different ethnic, religious backgrounds which were most interesting and revealing of the current state of this culturally diverse country. People of Jewish ethnicity and Palestinian ethnicity; people of different religious affiliations (i.e. Orthodox, Muslims, Christians, Bahia, Druze....) all find a way to live and work together peacefully and respectfully despite of the political differences and conflicts. It is truly amazing! We also had a excellent guide, Uri, who is full of knowledge and experience. We have learned so much from him about his country. He ensures we get to experience not just the different attractions, but also hear from people of different ethnic and religious affiliations, so that we can have a taste of the diversity of his country. Our tour was organized and even though there were a few unexpected "hiccups", we felt we were in good hands all the time. Thank you, Uri!

Excellent pace. Liked all activities. Minimum shopping but enough time to shop. Good quality meals.

Wonderful fellow travelers and fantastic tour leader. Too many great experiences to detail including the overnight houseboat adventure and Mumbai's "laundromat".

It was a marvelous exciting trip. Our trip leader Mohamed was knowledgeable, thoughtful and kind. He went out of his way to insure our needs and desires to the extent possible were meet. His demeanor helped to insure our group functioned well and and that we developed a sense of family..

I did the Pre-trip to Palestine with Mustafa. I highly recommend this, it was eye opening to see the West Bank. Petra was the next highlight. This is a busy trip but only a level 2 which I think fooled some people into thinking it was easier than it was. The logistics went smoothly and all the guides were great. Unfortunately we were probably the last group to complete the trip before the Coronavirus hit. I would wait to do this till the Palestine part is available.

An excellent trip
