NWMR tutoring proved to make a difference in my studying and preparation for COMLEX Level 1. I had completed another board prep course a few months prior, but it wasn't until I started NWMR that I saw a more obvious improvement in my retention of information and the way I approach questions. The videos are fun and memorable and I believe that I really benefited from the one on one tutoring, especially the test taking strategies.

4 years out from graduating medical school and in a non-patient-facing residency program, I struggled to study for COMLEX Step 3 on my own and had already failed twice -- feeling desperate that I could never relearn the material without a free study schedule like in medical school -- when NMR CoachPack was recommended. I purchased the 10-session pack in preparation for COMLEX Level 1. Working through the thorough, engaging workbooks strengthened my weak subjects. The regular online sessions with Dr. E helped me maintain my study schedule. I learned the impact of including regular breaks into my days, exercise, and tracking my sleep and study hours. My only complaint is that the videos are long for my short attention span. Overall I highly recommend the program.

Dr.E is genuine, and cares each student. He knows the materials very well and he has a lots of high yield stuffs on his slides which were helpful. Only negative is that Dr.E usually takes a long time (>30 min) to go over each question and he went over all questions that I got right. Other than that, i really enjoyed learning materials with him and I would not have passed without him. Thank you, Dr.E!

Northwestern Medical Review was the ideal fit for my learning style. I appreciated the physical workbooks that encouraged active learning, engaging lectures, qbank questions and assessments, and frequent coaching. One-on-one coaching with Dr. E truly helped to individualize my study plan and keep me on track for a successful performance. My understanding of content and test taking strategies and efficiency with study time tremendously improved over the short course of a month. Dr. E was committed and generous of his time and expertise 24/7 to help me succeed. His sense of humor and engaging instruction made my boards preparation an enjoyable process, and I look forward to continuing this one-on-one coaching for my next level of exams. My only regret is not starting this program much sooner. I had tried everything before without consistency and improvement, and this program was the solution.

I was happy that I was recommended Northwestern Medical Review for my Comlex Level 1 exam. I was able to review the modules at my own pace, and the course workbooks that are included are incredibly helpful to condense and review the highest yield topics. I especially enjoyed the humorous mnemonics that were included.

Dr. E’s consistent and kind-but-tough coaching helped me to stay on track and self-discipline through my COVID-extended COMLEX prep. The most helpful resources were by far the test strategies - I believe these helped me over the passing-score hump! I wish that all of the lectures were updated and rerecorded to improve quality and keep each under 50 minutes for comprehension and focus improvement, as well as that the workbooks better matched and followed the video content. I would also love if the workbooks were printed in color. I wish the question bank more closely mirrored testing conditions and that more information was provided in answer explanations. From an OMM perspective, there is some errata that needs corrected as well as less fact statements and more understanding explanations. But having weekly and later on bi-weekly one-on-one meetings was very helpful to improve my weaknesses and assess my progress. It was lovely to not feel like I was facing this mountain alone! Northwestern Medical Review is truly the best medical board prep service out there. I used them for both COMLEX Level 1 and 2 and both times I was not disappointed. Dr. E and his team do an amazing job at getting you more than ready for the boards and keeping you motivated. I would highly recommend to any medical student preparing for their boards, regardless of how ready they feel they may be.

The questions of NMR-Q bank are perfect blend to make concepts crystal clear. It contains easy as well as tough questions. That's good because we as students often mess up with easy questions. The explainations, particularly ones using images are incredible. Overall, its a great resource to learn.

It was a great journey with the question bank. There were useful mnemonics. However, I wasn’t able to complete the majority of the question bank, and therefore, I request you to kindly grant me free access to the question bank for further two months; I would be highly obliged. Thank you!

The Northwestern Medical Review USMLE Prep is a great resource for the types of questions encountered on the licensing exam. I was mainly interested in the Physiology section but did get a chance to examine the other topic areas. The questions were all clinical based vignettes and covered all topics. They ranged from 1 - 2 sentence basic questions to complex clinical scenarios. Questions were well written and directed the user to the answer with good distractions (alternatives were not so outrageous that you knew they were wrong). I think the best part, though, was the fact that each question had explanations as to why the given answer was correct.

the more questions the better I am still doing the questions but they are helping with practicing my concepts
