As the only wine-drinker in my household, it is wasteful to open a bottle for myself for a single glass from a prized bottle. Coravin enables me to enjoy a glass by myself without squandering a good wine.

Nice improvement to a great product
Love this new version. It's safer to use. I was stuck once by the needle with the older version. Also, it's easier to twist off the cover to replace the capsule. I had to discard my old one because I could no longer get the cover off. I hope this new one lasts a while, but if necessary I would buy another.

In spite of the high cost of the capsules...
I like the system a great deal, but the capsules don't last long enough. I may be saving money in the long run, however, because I'm no longer compelled to finish a bottle within a day or two of opening it. My wine consumption has gone down markedly.
