Whatever change Mechanix has done to the 4X material in the past year or 2 has made these gloves absolutely horrible. I had been using the 4x material gloves for the past 5 to 6 years for use with my wheelchair. After almost 20 years of trying different gloves and different materials I found that the 4x material was the only material that would last longer than a couple weeks, these glove would last 3, sometimes for 4 months. Leather and other synthetic materials would last 3-4 weeks tops. This changed last year, I bought 3 pairs in the fall of 2024, 2 pairs did last a few months, but the 3rd pair seemed a bit different, less suppleness to the material. This pair lasted only a week. I just ordered another 3 pairs last month and the first 2 pairs have only lasted a week each. The change of the 4X material has made the quality of these gloves absolutely horrible. I realize I'm not using them as intended, but I can't imagine that this brand would purposefully lower the quality of the product this much. Unfortunately I will not be buying these gloves again, and I'm not sure if I'll buy Mechanix gloves again
