Peace of mind, easy to use and a clear picture were my top priorities when choosing a baby camera/monitoring system. Nanit combines all three without a question. My husband and I LOVE the nanit Smart Baby Monitoring System. The flexibility of the wall mount versus free stand was so nice, the option to use your phone with the app OR with the HUGE 8inch home display - which I love moving all over the house with me when baby is napping and I am doing laundry, or things around the house is so great. 10/10 would recommend. We also love the sleep insights, so helpful to get into a routine and nap schedule.
Strong, reliable, I know my child won’t be able to hurt themselves with exposed cords or loose ends.
Not worth the money at all. Battery life is pretty bad and it’s randomly been turning off our camera. Camera itself is great but use the money towards another tablet and just download the app
Love having this screen so that we are not tied to our phones. My only complaint is how quickly it dies. I like to leave the brightness up while we are monitoring so that we can glance over at anytime and see our baby and their stats. The nanit home really only lasts about 2-3 hours before dying if it's not plugged in.
Incredible camera that is crystal clear and love the app.
First of all, like most baby cameras the monitor should be included with the camera. With that said, this thing literally has to do a 30 min update every other day! It has done two 30 min updates in one day TODAY! Its so annoying because the update pops up as soon as you turn it on when you need to actually use the monitor to watch you baby, so then you are forced to use your phone again. The first couple times it allows you to select update later, but after a handful of time it forces you to update which again sucks when you need it to keep an eye on your baby. The battery life on this thing sucks! It can be fully charge and will die within his 1. 2-2 hour nap. . at this point we just keep it plugged in. We got this because we wanted something portable to take room to room unlike google hub or the echo show that has to stay stationary and plugged in. We are able to do that with this, however we have to always make sure we have a charging cord in each room. I kinda regret getting the first model but my parents were getting frustrated having to keep their phones on the monitor when they were watching him
As first-time parents, the Nanit Pro has been helpful managing our "is the baby okay?" anxiety. The real-time breathing monitoring, clear HD video, and sleep analytics provide incredible peace of mind by showing us exactly how well our little one rested throughout the night. It’s definitely a splurge—and the subscription is a bit of a bummer—but for the "peace of mind" factor alone, it’s been one of our favorite pieces of baby gear.
The Nanit Pro has exceeded our expectations, starting with an incredibly simple setup that took less than 10 minutes from box to bird’s-eye view. The 1080p video feed is crystal clear and highly accessible across all our devices. The stand setup also ensures that the wires stay out of the way for any possible safety concern. The standout feature for us is the dedicated 8” tablet. Having a stand-alone monitor for the nightstand or kitchen provides constant peace of mind without draining our phone batteries or being interrupted by notifications. It’s the perfect blend of smart tech and dedicated hardware reliability.
The home display is worth the money. I was getting tired of using my phone and didn’t have an iPad or spare device to use. This was a great solution to being able to watch my baby. The only downside is the battery life. It drains really fast, but it does last almost a full day off the charger
So far I love it.
Shipping and overall service is top notch!
Received quickly and efficiently
Excellent!
Great!
Battery life, mobility
I wish the subscription was cheaper! We have two cameras and it won’t let me combine one subscription, I have to purchase one for each which is super pricey
Purchased this as a gift and she was so appreciative (it was the thing) she really wanted to help her keep an eye and ear on her new born.
Love the large screen—it’s super user-friendly and a total game changer since it frees up my phone to use whenever I need. My only downside is the battery life; it drains pretty quickly, so it needs to stay plugged in most of the time, which isn’t always convenient if there’s no outlet nearby.
Great company. Good products. Good customer service
great monitor.
