The features on this monitor are excellent—I especially love the touchscreen, activity tracking, and the overall sound and image quality. My only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the battery drains fairly quickly unless the screen is turned off, which defeats the purpose of monitoring my baby while he sleeps. Aside from that, it’s a fantastic product and works really well overall.

Excellent service

We had been using a less expensive baby monitor for about 4 months and kept having consistent connection issues with both the non-WiFi monitor and the app stream. I’d spend an hour a couple nights a week trying to fix it with not troubleshooting instructions other than doing a factory reset every time. After doing that for about few weeks, we just decided to upgrade and go with the Nanit. One night with it and we never looked back. The reliable video stream, background app noise, detailed reports, and video playback has been great. While it is at a premium price point, the product quality matches.

This is our second floor stand Nanit monitor because we loved the first one so much. I truly have nothing bad to say! It’s so easy to set up. I love that it tells me when my baby fell asleep and wake up right on the screen easy to read. I check their activity every day to know when their next nap should be. It’s sooo easy. Oh and we also have the travel stand. They’ve truly thought of everything!

It was a seamless process and the NANIT gives my friends the peace of mind that they’re premature babies will be OK when they’re sleeping.

I got this monitor in hopes to no longer sleep next to my phone - I think it succeeds at that, but some features could be better. It does not get as loud as my phone volume so I worry I may miss something at night. I wish the battery lasted longer, but it is manageable. There are minor delays with using the screen, it takes a while to turn on and off, there are 3 prompts to answer before turning off and general operations feel slow to me. If I were buying a whole new system again, I think I would buy the bundle but having bought it after the fact I don't know that it is worth it on its own.

So far it’s been great! Especially being able to see what temperature and humidity the room is in to ensure safe sleep.

The Nanit Display is nice and convient how it allows you all the features such as on your phone. One major flaw is the display does not have a long battery life. Without being plugged in, my display has not survived the night. It might be best used by people who are watching your baby that don’t have the app. It is a bright display and convient but the battery life is a problem.

Love the 8” monitor display!

We are so happy that Nanit finally came out with a monitor! We were using our phones, which is super easy, but having the separate monitor is a life saver! Now our nanny can easily monitor our son while he’s napping. We know it will come in handy when our new baby is born in just a few weeks, making the monitoring of both seamless. Our favorite thing about the monitor might be how quiet it is compared to the phone app. Now we don’t have to hear our son’s sound machine while we’re sleeping— just our son if he needs anything during the night! Thank you, Nanit for coming out with this great addition to an already awesome camera system!

Of all the items marketed to new parents claiming “ease of mind”, this one is truly worth it. Between the CLEAREST video footage, ease of access with controls, and having the ability to not be in their room without feeling guilty or stressed, I’d say this is one of my top recommendations for my friends with kids or expecting parents. If I could give it more than a 5 star review, I would.

This camera system makes it so easy to check on my baby even if someone else is watching him. The insights are super helpful in tracking his progress and hitting milestones. Definitely one of the best purchases!
