My trusty Bodum Automatic pour over broke. I’d heard reviews for Moccamasters for years, but never needed a new brewer one until now. It’s just me, so a pot is wasteful. The Cup-One seemed perfect. And it was. With one exception. Heat retention. The open cup philosophy allows heat to escape WAY too quickly. My coffee was lukewarm by the time I got it into a travel mug to take to work. And utterly blah. It didn’t matter how quickly I transferred it, even standing by the machine until the last drop—it was cooling in the open cup waiting for the brew to finish, and losing is oomph all the while. But. I found a thermal insulated mug with straw AND sip holes on Amazon, and it fits perfectly under the brew basket, allowing the coffee to brew directly into it via the straw hole. When it’s brewed, I can open the sip spout and pour steaming coffee into my travel mug and sip just this side of delicious, gloriously scalding coffee all morning at work.

The Moccamster x AirSpace Classic Coffee Canister is a delight. It is a welcome addition to my coffee ritual. It keeps the beans fresh and fits nicely on my counter.

I received clear correspondence with customer service after the brewer I purchased elsewhere used arrived inoperable. I shipped it to Moccamaster for repair at my cost. The brewer required a float adjustment and they replaced the broken brew basket and a missing foot. After a slight return shipping delay (no fault of Moccamaster!) a well functioning brewer arrived. The coffee it makes is delicious! Thank you!
