I was so excited for my candles. I have a slight candle addiction to say the least. I have bought high end candles to inexpensive ones. I followed the directions that came with my order... leave wick, let burn until the top has a "pool" of melted wax for maximum burn. My candle has burned unevenly, and there is no wick to create an even pool of wax. Was so excited to place this in my mantle this holiday and have the room smell wonderful.

Our group of 7 had the opportunity of participating in a private candle making workshop at Slow North. We had the absolute best time creating our personalized candles. We were given a scent education piece first. We were able to sample/ smell every essential oil 1x1 while being given details on each sample. That was my favorite part. We were able to pick our colored jar as well. We enjoyed cookies and hot chocolate during our workshop. If you are looking for a fun and creative activity for your team Slow North is the place.

Last year, I started ordering holiday candles from Slow North and it did not disappoint! I LOVE all the candles from this series, you really can't go wrong with any of them, AND they are great layered togather. This will become my new holiday tradition. A great quality product that helps bring the season in.

I was very excited to find non-toxic candles, bought two 8 oz in glass container, one Rosemary Mint, the other Orange and Clove. I started with the Rosemary, which I’ve burned several times, and it has not left a scent in our small condo. It may as well have been unscented. My husband did not even notice a scent. Very disappointed. I am hoping for better results with the Orange and Clove. Fyi, I seldom write negative reviews but my expectations were high and I feel let down.

My daughters and I attended a candle making workshop and we had such a great time! The instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful. They had excellent products in their gift shop as well!

After I learned of how toxic candles can be, now I only use Slow North. The smells are not overwhelming, and just right. Perfect for the shorter days to give your home a warm and cozy vibe. Highly recommend.

I love that these candles are made from essential oils. I had stopped using candles for the longest time because of breathing issues with fragrances. These smell wonderful and don’t bother me a bit!
