Wearing a sleeping mask gives me extended periods of sleep during both day and night. I am a quadriplegic and often it is hard to get to sleep and to stay asleep. Now when I am awakened by movement, sound, or noise during my sleep, I see only dark and just close my eyes and resume my slumber. Without a mask, I would see the blinking lights in my room and that would really keep me from getting back to sleep quickly.
