Though the price is now £27.56, vs the £16.99 for version 2.—Now £22.13 as I write this review…Anyway, I already have something like this, but it’s very much inflexible. It works but it was obviously not designed for manoeuvrability, so it doesn’t really meld with the palm/hand.Thought I would give Mammal’s a shot than start with the grip spray which I found difficult to remove after! I don’t really use chalk (wet/dry) as they suggest you also add…I was confident that was not the final price.Which is a shame because I factor price in when I write my reviews meaning, sellers who flip flop their prices can hurt ratings (they get from me). I’ve only left the rating at 4/5 on first impressions; vs the 3.5/5 I was thinking.Maybe after I’ve broken it in and further checking the quality, I’ll need to update my review if it gets better or has issues like the previous versions.I felt the difference when I tested having this on just one hand on the paralettes, so looks promising.
I have given the Mammal Strength gymnastic hand grips a good workout, and they are a bit like Marmite you either love the fingerless, flap-around freedom or find it fiddly. For pull-ups and bar work, they are a blessing for your palms (no more peeling skin and also less stress on the wrists. But for deadlifts? They might as well wave at you awkwardly mid-set. They are robust, lightweight, and flexible, but if you have got petite hands, they might slide around like a penguin on ice. At just under £20, they are decent value but wont replace a proper set of deadlift straps.Pros: - Palm Protection: No more calluses or torn skin during pull-ups and bar work. - Flexible Build: The material feels durable yet allows for movement. - Fast Transitions: Fingerless design makes switching grips a breeze. - Great for Bar Movements: Boosts grip without over-relying on chalk or sprays. - Wrist support: A good degree of wrist support when under pulling forceCons: - Not Ideal for All Exercises: Deadlift enthusiasts may find them cumbersome. - Fit Issues: Small hands or wrists may experience slipping or shifting. - Limited Use Case: Best suited for bodyweight bar exercises, not heavy lifting.Verdict:If your workout includes pull-ups, muscle-ups, or T2Bs, these grips will keep your hands intact while adding a bit of grip and wrist support confidence. Just dont expect miracles for heavy barbell lifts, they are more acrobat than strongman. And hey, at £20, they’re a worthwhile addition to your gym bag for the right exercises.

Sorted my exchange really well, top quality products. I’d just suggest being a bit quicker at responding to emails. Other than that, brilliant
First order and everything went perfectly and very fast !
I have been using mammal strength tape for about a year now. I have used other tapes in the past but this is definitely my favourite. It stays really securely and is comfortable to wear. It is also really easy to tear which is so important when in the gym and don't have scissors to hand. It is such good value for money and you get so much tape in one pack. This is the tape you need!

Really pleased with receiving this tape, compared to other brands getting 9 meters goes along way! tape easily grips to the skin and to the bar or DB, protects my skin as I always get cuts if I wasn’t using this product! tears off easily, will be ordering more once I’ve finished the other rolls

Quick shipping, concise packaging and quality products. I'll be back.
Awesome straps, strong construction and works a treat for when the grip strength fatigues and interrupts a good heavy session.
Tape it top notch, sticks when it needs to, tears easily and does wonders to protect the integrity of your grip.
After (way more time than I'd like to admit) of borrowing tape, straps and belts from people in the gym I finally pulled the trigger on getting myself kitted out. The belt is phenomenal. I was a touch worried about the nylon construction but in reality it gives the support needed for heavy or fatigued lifting while not preventing any level of mobility needed for it. First heavy front squat session in a while and after about an hour of snatching, I started using the belt and simply put, it changed the game. Tape it top notch, sticks when it needs to, tears easily and does wonders to protect the integrity of your grip. I haven't yet needed to test out the straps but I've got all faith they'll prove as good as the rest of the kit. I'll be back!
Great product for good price. easy to apply and sticks great to itself. No residue left on your hands either! Use it for thumbs on hook gripping and protecting my fingers in the are sore when kipping.

Very nice CS
Great tape, no problem putting it on and taking it off, and working well once on
The Mammal hand grips are really well made and i imagine have been tweaked since initial release as these are V3 .The use really depends on what your trying to achieve with them. For pull ups , bar work etc where you lifting your body weight in repetition without releasing the bar these do increase grip and help offset hand fatigue. For dead lifts not so much at least for me as tgey tend to get in the way as they dont aid with closed hand grip like proper deadlift straps do , they just help you grip the bar but depending on the bar used they can just flap around between lifts and get in the way. They do improve grip though so no complaints there you just have to pick the use case carefully.
these palm protectors are super useful and also well made. I have used similar ones before but these here are more flexible. They are made of two layers which are held together with continuous stitching. Not sure if the inner is leather or man made material. Overall good.
