Great light head, It has a shinier black paint than the one Arisaka receives if it matters. The Arisaka is more matte. I keep trying to like more expensive lights like the modlite, but with Circle Logic and Knowing that cr123 batteries are easier to get or find in a zombie apocalypse, And can be made a few oz lighter i always end up back to this Head.

Great lights from an American company made here in America. I’ve been using and carrying my MDC 1x cr123a every day for about 6 years. It takes everything I throw at it and begs for more. There’s nothing wrong with the stock clip, but I recently added the deep carry clip from Lynch NW and WOW. Small flashlight perfection.

I love this light. It’s definitely a nicer level of craftsmanship than I’ve ever owned and feels like it will be a great life for a long time to come. Gene and Cathy were phenomenal with helping me order and answering any and all questions I had. Will definitely be a return customer!
