I recently inoculated my Magic Bag with a syringe of mycelium ( not spores! ) and the bag is colonizing quite nicely, there's a nice white carpet of mycelium spreading across the entire bag, and contamination is not a problem. In two or three weeks I expect the mycelium to fruit, but I can report that so far everything works as advertised. I recommend Magic Bags as a way to grow mushrooms that doesn't require special sterilized equipment - good product.

I am a first time grower and I think my 2 bags are almost colonized and are ready for fruiting. I’m hoping that I did everything right and they produce beautiful mushrooms. I’m trying to be patient and don’t want to waste all the time and effort that I have put into this so far.
