Tastes great with gin - But expensive for what is just cordial - there are no alcohol taxes - so why is this so expensive??

I can't help but wonder if I just got a "bad bottle" because there is absolutely no flavor to this and it tastes like water with a tad of sugar and vanilla. There is nothing resembling the description that is onlline.

Deliciously perfect bubbles 😋 I have been alcohol free for nearly 10ths and I occasionally feel like a glass of bubbles but don’t want to open a whole bottle so now I can enjoy a can when I feel like it 😍
