Great unit my only suggestion is to supply a bent nozzle to better fit small entrance reducer openings.

Got the insta vap gave it a trial run just to try it out and it works great ! I had a cheap one from Amazon before and it took 15 min to heat up and had to lug around a big battery . New vaporizer heated up in 1-2min and is way lighter with the drill battery !

I am a small hobbyist beekeeper, and I wanted a vaporizer that did not hit the bank account. This unit has been very rugged and easy to use. I have already treated all of my hives since receiving it. I would recommend this to any new beekeeper needing something reasonable and able to provide a quality treatment.

I purchased the compact model. Takes maybe 45 seconds to vaporize each hive. I went with this product from this website because they have parts to maintain & rebuild the vaporizer. This tells me they view this as a tool that will last at least my lifetime. Can't stand disposable junk. Very happy with this purchase.

I just purchased the Turbo model at NAHBE. I don't know why I waited so long to replace my old Provap plug in model. I just love the speed and usability of the turbo model. It cut my vaporizing time down to 1/3 of the Provap. Also, due to the balance of the machine and the claws at the bottom, the unit does not turn over like the Provap. I recommend buying a high capacity batttery, ex. 12 Amp, if you are vaporizing a lot of colonies. I found that I could only get about fifteen 4g treatments with the lower amp battery due to the amount of power it draws. It also helps getting all your colonies ready with towels in the front entrance and white boards in since the treatment time is so quick. Once I get more efficient, the battery will last me longer. Also, I recommend buying a second dosage plunger. Another recommendation- make sure you hold down the pink cap when cleaning the chamber with DI water, otherwise the pink cap shots up in the air due to pressure exerted by the steam and may get lost.
