The product review tab has been missing, so I put my experience with the product here. **AVOID LOREX CAMERAS - DEFECTIVE BATTERIES & TERRIBLE WARRANTY SUPPORT** After purchasing multiple Lorex camera systems with extended warranty coverage, I'm compelled to share my experience with their customer support—it's been consistently disappointing. **The Problem:** I've experienced battery failures twice with my Lorex cameras. Both times, the 3-cell batteries simply died and stopped charging entirely. This is unacceptable for security equipment that's supposed to provide reliable surveillance. **The Warranty Nightmare:** Here's where it gets worse. I purchased a comprehensive 5-year extended warranty specifically to cover parts like batteries. However, when I tried to use it, Lorex customer support repeatedly claimed my warranty had expired—despite having paid for extended coverage that should have protected me. **What I Actually Paid For:** - 1-year manufacturer warranty (included) - 5-year extended warranty (purchased separately) - Multiple additional extended warranty purchases for comprehensive coverage What I got instead was 4 years of coverage that I had to fight tooth and nail to access. **The RMA Process:** Submitting warranty claims proved agonizing. The first RMA was a battle—I had to escalate to a supervisor just to get basic assistance. The second RMA for the replacement batteries was equally frustrating, with the same warranty denial excuses. **Bottom Line:** Lorex cameras are simply not reliable, and their customer support is unwilling to honor the extended warranties customers pay for.
