Last year I bought a blackboard and a couple packs of chalk markers. I have no issue with the board, but the markers were so disappointing. Priming them for the first time was okay. There was some huge leakages with a couple of them, and some of them after the priming didn't last writing much before having to prime again. After a short while of not using them, they ended up being pretty bad. Some were completely dry, some were still kinda wet, some were watery, but no color, and repriming them was also worse. There were more leaks and pools of ink as the tips of the markers weren't absorbing the ink. Some did, but when going to write they would dry out quickly and had to reprime frequently to write full messages. I took off the tip and tried soaking it in water to see if it would fix it, but that didn't really do it. (Could've worked just don't have the time/energy to keep trying) I have a good number of these and most of these feel unusable except for like 1-2 that still stayed hydrated the whole time or most of it and wrote well for a long time without having to reprime. I don't understand why only a couple of them worked well and all the rest dried out while the ink is being rejected even after being put in water to rehydrate. A waste of money :(
