attentive and flexible, they applied the generous end-of-season discount to exactly the outdoor furniture pieces i wanted. and then the owner himself showed up to assemble it in my backyard!

They did a great job -- it was the first time having knives sharpened here, and they were timely and took amazing care.. would definitely recommend.

Great knife sharpening and customer service!

I recently dropped and damaged a brand new chefs knife I purchased while in Japan a few months ago. The tip of the knife chipped and bent. Jonathan (Local Root) did an AMAZING job restoring the knife back to brand new! The knife was also sharped back to perfection Highly recommend Local Root for knife sharpening. Plus they have a store full of unique and beautiful kitchen ware.

Local Root sharpened three knives for me, all of which turned out quite well. The customer service is great, and the knives were ready when promised. I plan to return the next time our knives need sharpening.

A great job sharpening my knives. It only takes 2 days, and the knives are perfectly sharpened. Last year, one of my knives had a broken tip. I got it back repaired.
