I've used Local Root a number of time to sharpen my Henckels Pro knives. They have always been well serviced. Most recently, my knives were very dull and I went longer than I should have between sharpening. They were returned in excellent condition, razor sharp and seemingly sharper than previous visits. Very reliable and highly recommended!

Local Roots does an excellent job in sharpening your good German and Japanese knives. The knives sharpness dulls with use and annual professional sharpening makes a big difference.

I was expecting the knife to be sharper, I still struggle to cut tomatoes without crushing them. They also removed a lot more material than I expected, and the tip isn't as sharp as the body of the knife. Probably wouldn't go here again

My knives are always perfectly sharpened. Once, a knife had a broken tip. The tip came back re-shaped. You couldn't tell it had been broken. And it only takes a day or two, great, since we need our knives! Little ve this service!

This is a great service. Finding a knife sharpening service is very difficult at best. To find one where the knives are sharper than ever, delivered on the promise date and convenient. This service is a plus. I wish they polished the back of knives. There a visible swirls - watermarking, on the back of the knives.
