The extension (250th anniversary edition) for the Solera awning is awesome. Although not floor length it really adds a great deal of shade from the top of the awning. My only concern is during the roll up it wrinkles quite a bit and the first time one side of the awning didn't close flush to the sidewall as usual.

A bit heavier than I expected (50 lbs), but it is good that it is sturdy. It wasn’t too hard to put together, though I had to back up once since I had the tray going the wrong way. It says in the instructions that it isn’t for the back of a trailer, but we are using it on the back of our travel trailer since it is rated for 300 lbs. We’ve made it across the country, but have 2 months of travel still to come. If it doesn’t survive, I’ll update the review. But it will be the trailer hitch that likely breaks before the bike rack.

The switches were OEM replacement part for lippert power tongue jack switches that I busted off dropping the truck tailgate on them. The jack housing was not damaged so it was easy to pop them in and the jack is like new. The only issue was they arrived a bit later than the initial delivery date indicated when I made the order. I had cut it too close so duct taped on the broken hanging switches for a camping trip and installed the new ones when I returned.

Poor original Lippert design and required customer to pay high cost for redesigned replacement. Phone support was knowledgeable and very helpful.

So often buying a part for an older product (my RV is 9 years old) is impossible because the manufacturer simply stops making or stocking them. Fortunately, that was not the case for this hinge as it was identical to the original and precisely what I needed.
