Sturdy attrractive. E-system Begins to be intuitive after a few rides. Tires ride well. A little jerky at lower speeds…again, that may become expected and ignored after more rides. For now, all the assist I need for my 12% driveway

These LeMond bar end plugs are are the final touch for the restoration of my recently found 1999 LeMond Zurich model bicycle.

I have been using my bicycle for over half a year now and appreciate it more and more as time goes by. I've taken her on rides such as 50 miles with 5,000 miles of climbing and finished the ride with some battery left over by being very judicious with the use of it. I've taken it on the Buddhist Bicycle Pilgrimage which is 140 miles over 2 days where I have a chance to refresh the battery at lunch times and was able to use the battery as freely as I wanted to. Riding around home, I often times will never even turn on the battery except for my last mile going up the steep Hill that I live on. It is such a pleasure to be able to ride a bike that acts just as if it were a good hybrid bicycle except for has that little extra added dimension when I am feeling a little fatigued and want the help. And, it is absolutely true that this bike doesn't shortchange you ever even when you're using the battery if I ride it vigorously. Indeed, it just allows us to go faster. Proof to myself is when I've used it on a 14 mile ride where I had the battery off the entire time vs the time I used thebattery the entire time for the 14 mile ride and arrived more tired because I was vigorously riding the entire time.

LeMond is easy to work with.

The seat is fine. The problem is mounting it. For some unfathomable reason, the designer of the clamp that attaches the seat to the stem made it in six--yes, six--distinct pieces. Managing to hold them together with the stem while trying to thread the bolt that tightens it is a challenge to one's tolerance of repeated frustration.
