These type chairs are hard to find. They are far sturdier than all other our door chairs, they are lighter, and fold pretty compact. I wouldn't buy any other type of folding outdoor chair.

These chairs bring back strong childhood memories they were a staple at my grandpa's house, and I was excited to invest in them for myself. They're made in the USA and very comfortable, which I appreciate. However, I quickly remembered one key flaw these chairs can and will collapse if they're not fully opened. I brought them out for a 4th of July gathering, and unfortunately, one didn't even make it through the day. They're especially risky if you're enjoying a few drinks definitely not ideal for a social setting with tipsy guests. I really wanted to love them, and they do have that nostalgic charm.
