This lady is very serious about her orchids. I visited their greenhouse, and there was no sign of fungus anywhere. None. I did see large numbers of vigorous plants and bought several vandas with fat roots and kiki. There were far too many selections and the quality of the plants was impressive. I’m a newbie with plants in general, and as with starting any new interest, you can waste more money trying to go cheap, than if you just bought the good stuff to start. I saw some gorgeous stuff, and she told me she gets new stuff in all the time. I will look like a pro many years sooner, simply because I’m starting with solid plants. HaHa
