Bad customer experience

I am extremely disappointed with both the condition of the shoes I received from La Coqueta and, even more so, the way the company has handled an issue that, eight days later, remains completely unresolved. I ordered a brand-new pair of shoes for my daughter on August 15th, specifically for school. They were delivered on August 19th, and when I opened the package, I was shocked to find that the soles were visibly worn. These did not look like brand-new shoes—they looked like shoes that had already been worn for a significant amount of time. I contacted La Coqueta customer service that same day, August 19th, and immediately provided photographs clearly showing the condition in which the shoes arrived. Today is August 27th—eight days after I first contacted customer service—and I still do not have replacement shoes. More incredibly, I do not even have a return shipping label to send back the worn shoes La Coqueta sent me. Instead, one of the solutions offered was a 15% discount to keep the shoes in their current, visibly worn condition. For a pair of children's shoes costing approximately $100, I found that response particularly disappointing and frankly difficult to understand. I did not purchase discounted, used, returned, or shop-worn shoes. I paid full price for brand-new shoes and expected to receive brand-new shoes. Mistakes happen. I understand that a returned or worn pair could mistakenly be shipped to a customer. What I cannot understand is why, after I notified La Coqueta the very day the shoes arrived and immediately provided photographs, eight days have now passed without replacement shoes being sent and without even a return label being provided. This should have been an incredibly simple customer-service issue to resolve: apologize, provide a prepaid return label, and promptly send the new shoes that I actually ordered and paid for.
