Rented a dry suit for a multi day trip this spring. It arrived by mail exactly as promised and worked great. Would definitely recommend kayak academy for their customer service and for their rental program.

I occasionally order items from Kayak Academy. Most recently I ordered two Valley kayak hatch covers. One of the covers did not fit; mistakes certainly happen. At first everyone was great, getting in touch to make sure the sizing was correct and if I wanted to make any customizations. They even sent a temporary rental while my backordered dry suit arrived. Then I was unable to get in touch with anyone about whether they had changed my order or ended up placing it or what. I've emailed and called numerous times with no luck, and I have not received my drysuit or any communication that it is still delayed. For a nearly $1000 purchase, I would think they could let me know what is going on with the order.

This was a great class. Full immersion in sea kayaking and kayaking in general. Great instructor and tons of information. They really give you a great base for starting out sea kayaking. It pretty much covers everything. Also like that they offer a chance to come back and review for alums. My confidence was really boosted after taking the class. I feel a lot better about being capable on the water. Teaching the self rescue and safety as well as how to start reading the water is a great base as far as i am concerned. if you are beginner or even maybe novice this 5 day course is great way to either start or build on what you have if you want confidence on the water.

I totally trust the Kayak Academy and that follows over to the products they sell. I recently purchased the Kokatat WoolCore Long Sleeve Shirt and as a base layer it kept me toasty warm with no bulk during a 6 hour winter paddle.

I love my custom dry suit; and thank you for the loaner suit while I waited.

This fall did the open water navigation training 3 day class. It was an eye opener and very worthwhile. Got me over the hump to get out on open water. George was a great instructor and mentor. Steps were huge but made very double. Got me excited to get out more which I have been doing on open water just about every week and now am a year-rounder. I would recommend Kayak Academy for anyone who wants develop and grow in this exciting sport. Barry (65yo)

I needed All the gaskets replaced in my dry suit. In a short turn around. They emailed me a ups drop off label. I shipped it on a Monday and I got it back by Thursday the same week! That’s great TLC
