I will mention again here, I am absolutely delighted with the craftmanship, functionality and the nostalgia of being able to determine time with these historic instruments. I love time pieces, the
I love time pieces, the ones that you have to wind. When I saw the Kala Pocket Sundial, I was fascinated and excited. I knew I’d have to have one. I’ve never used a sundial and really wasn’t sure how they worked. The sun arrived as advertised. It’s a beautiful piece. The website has good instructional information although I wish they had a video of the small dot that projects onto the inner ring and tells the time I found that dot to be subtle compared to some of the other reflections on the inner ring, but once you see the dot, It’s clear what you’re looking for. I think it’s beautifully made and a lot of fun to use. I had to recommend it for anyone looking for a small portable sundial.
