This board makes the third one I've purchased. I bought my first Kahuna Creation, the Hydro, along with the adjustable Big Stick, in 2011, to give to my then 9 year old grandson, Kai, as a Christmas gift. Loving the quality of the board as much as I did, I gave the Pohaku to my son the following Christmas. He had previously been a die-hard fan of the Gravity Board, but I'm pretty sure he's now converted to the Kahuna brand. Well, Kai's younger brother, Asher, is soon to have his very own Kahuna Creation (thanks to Grandma) and I can hardly wait to see the look on his face. The only (slight) disappointment for me is that it arrived sporting black wheels. I would've preferred a different colour, but other that that, like the previous boards I've purchased, it's perfect. Thank you so much for making such an exemplary product.

I have been a longboard user for almost tweety years. I currently own four Kahuna boards and two sticks. The only other board in my garage is a Classic 57" that is too cool to get rid of and too old to ride. My whole family plays and exersizes on a Bombora Retrofish, and two Pohaku's. I am hoping for a Haka Cruiser for Christmas. The Original and Adjustable Sticks make if fun to get in some great exercise.

I've had mine for close to three years and it's been great. I'm 6' and my paddle is 6' and I've had no issues with elbow pain. I got my first board in 1976, and I along with my wife and two girls ride all the time. The Big Stick is the coolest thing I've seen in a long time. Keep the innovative products coming. Thx.

This board is literally the best investment ever. It's really durable like I can't stress enough on how I love this board. So recently the front of my board was ran over completely by a full sized car and the only the only thing damaged was my bushings a tiny chunk out of my front wheels... But like that's the crazy thing my deck didn't snap or crack at all. The car was completely supported by my board... This board is totally worth your time and money! I've had my baby for about 3 years now. I highly recommend this goddess of a board.

Was never really into any kinds of boards until i stumbled upon this website! figured I'd give longboarding a shot since there's not much else to do here in WI. This board is unbelievable! Beautifully crafted, rides like butter. VERY forgiving, I've hit so many patches of rocks and haven't biffed it yet! The artwork on the board is phenomenal. Everyone who sees it asks me where I got the beaut. Priced very well! I'll never buy another brand again. Totally worth every single penny. I'd recommend this board to anyone.

I was in Salt Lake City this summer for the Outdoor Retailer show, and I stumbled across this board. After fighting the temptation for a day, I gave in and bought it, and it was money well spent. The board looks and rides awesome. It's a smooth ride, and it carves like a dream. You can really lay into the turns, and there's enough flex in the board to build your speed back with smaller, tighter carves. I've only hit small hills so far, so I can't speak for really bombing hills, but it handled well on the hills I've hit so far without any wobbles. Finally, it is just a cool looking board. The artwork really makes it stand out, and every time I've ridden it, I've had random people, sometimes people who I could never imagine riding a skateboard, coming up to me and complementing me on the board. I didn't do much research on the bearings, trucks and wheels, but it rides with speed and carves well, so I have no complaints. I'm glad that I bought it!

This is a sick board and rides very well. This board can handle a lot, I clocked myself going 30mph around some sharp hair-pin turns and it handled like champ - no speed wobbles. Whether youʻre an adrenaline junkie and love going fast or a beginner and prefer to cruise, this is an excellent board all around. Now while this board is ready ride right out of the package, be sure to tighten the trucks before you decide to bomb hills...bad things happen to good people...like myself lol If you have never owned a drop deck before, the only disadvantage I can think of to having a drop deck is that some speed bumps are a nightmare...other than that, you should be good. Amazing board overall though, I am extremely pleased with this investment!!!

I grew up as a Navy Brat and lived near the ocean most of my life surfing when ever possible. Now I live in the Midwest and I thought that part of my life was all in my past. Then I found the Drop Deck Bamboo by Kahuna, I fell in love with carving all over again. This stick ROCKS! I live in an area that has rolling hills that wind for miles at a time. I have been able to cruse for 3 miles without ever putting a foot down. Love this Board! Keep up the great work guys

Love, love, love...I wish there were 6 stars so I give the Bombora that rating. I have never surfed, SUP'd, snowboarded, or skateboarded in my life but with bad knees was looking for a fun workout. The board is so smooth and stable that I was up and running in a day after a little practice turning and braking in the driveway. The big stick really gives you stability and confidence if you're worried about falling or not being able to slow down. I am 215 lbs and the board is very sturdy. Land paddling for an hour goes by like 5 minutes - it's mind-clearing, relaxing, and meditative. Whether you're paddling up a hill -bending the knees, really digging in- or smoothly carving your way down a hill, it's unlike anything. That feeling of surfing around your neighborhood is just totally zen. I have the confidence in my balance now to try surfing or paddleboarding next time we're at the beach.

I saw the size of this thing and had to have it. Already own the Retrofish, Haka Moko, Hukilau Classic. This board is an awesome cruiser. "The Beast" as I call it. Great quality. Well made. You will love it. Its a head turner.

Not having been on a skateboard since my youth ( currently 56 yrs. ), I thought the Bombora would be the perfect size to re-acquaint myself to the balance, stability, and feeling of street boarding and land paddling. I was not disappointed. It is such a blast getting my balance back and it maneuvers beautifully. I am finally able to walk around on the board and practice hanging five and the like-- a tremendously stable platform for a great whole- body and cardio workout, especially when paddling up hill! At 59" in length, the Bombora fits nicely into the work box of my Toyota pickup so I can take it and the adjustable Kahuna Stick with me wherever I go. Kahuna Creations rocks! Bought the black Bombora with 10 year Anniversary Sale price. Killer deal, Fantastic Quality Build, Gives my dry land paddle work outs a whole new dimension and feel as if I'm on the water. This board is Sooo Smooth and stable it is a joy to train on land and is Sooo much Fun. Being on the water is still the best but this long board, coupled with the Bamboo Kahuna Stick is a close second and makes for fast and fun transportation around the beach cities where my girl and I live. At 40, I'm not a skater and I never was as a kid, either. I probably should have been though, because I've gotten pretty adept at being on wheels since I got this cruiser. It's so not that hard. When I first got the board, the pole saved me from falls on any numerous occasions, and now I've gotten the feel for my limits and can use the pole for movement instead of avoiding booboos. This is a great 2nd to being on my paddle board, too. If you can find a fairly flat expanse, you can fly and get a great workout. The board is gorgeous and the adjustable pole is light and very stable. Just quality gear all the way around. Either people are astonished at my grace (hmmmm) or they have never seen land paddling before, but I get tons of comments and interest in buying one. KC is a fantastic company and I don't think I ever thanked them for swapping the colors for me at the very last minute (Thank You!!). Now my pretty long board matches my pretty paddle board :)

We love these boards easy for me since I have no athletic skills. We have now purchased boards for all 3 of our boys ages 3,6, and 8. They love to ride and feel secure on the boards.

I have been using the 6' kahuna big stick classic for years; still looks beautiful! looks even better in person with the carbon fiber criss cross weave with the fiberglass. I picked up a bombora kahuna board, which is perfect match. i paddle around my business park (around a 5 mile trip) with ease for a great workout and stress relief. love it.

Kahuna Creations has amazing longboards and not to mention the best land paddles. I've had two knee surgeries, but I'm able to board again with the Kahuna Big Stick.

I just picked up the combo of Shaka Kahili and the landstick. I enjoy SUPing during the summer but wanted to try land paddling during the fall and winter months. I was looking for a stable cruiser board that would be fun to ride and give me a nice workout. This board suits me perfectly! It's very easy to ride and so smooth when doing easy turns. I'm not a high speed crazy rider so if you are looking for that I'm not sure if this is for you. But iy you want to cruise neighborhood streets listening to tunes while getting in a nice workout, this is a perfect combo to get you going. I also found the people at Kahuna Creations to be very helpful. Call them direct if you have questions and they can advise you without overselling.
