The info page for the remote window controller (sku311807) I purchased make the installation seem relatively simple. This was for my 2004 Ford Thunderbird where the driver's side door would not index up when the door was closed. The front FEM, which controls this function has been rebuilt twice and, from everything I've read, no one will guarantee their rebuilt FEM's will solve this indexing issue. I downloaded the installation instructions and wiring diagram. The mechanic I took my car to was a Ford Master Mechanic for seven years and has about 20 years experience on car repairs. It took him 8 hours to install this as none of the wiring colors matched the function they were supposed to do. He finally had to go through one wire at a time to figure out what that wire's function was. The good news is he got it installed and it works as advertised. I had him connect the driver's door window only as that was the one with the issue. From my perspective, you should review your product info and maybe save someone the over $800 dollars it cost me to get this installed
