Living in the North, my wife has a poor choice for shopping. My father was a tailor and taught me the basics to sew as a kid. Although my line of business was electronics, when I retired my wife got me to learn how to make her fine clothes that she canβt buy in the shops up here. Finding Joel and Son is the finishing touch. We went to a very posh wedding in Kent last year and the bridegrooms mother remarked to my wife that she was the best dressed lady there. All in a Joel home made silk dress, made by a retired electronics engineer.

I had questions about the
I had questions about the width of printed fringe because I do not intend to use that part of the fabric. The questions were answered and once the order was placed the shipment happened immediately. I also like that the material was carefully packaged. The vibrant print will be worn with great pleasure.

The website does not fully capture the sheer scale, assortment and magic of the fabric collection at the store. But what I found, since I had some idea of what I needed, still was a delightful find. I chose to pick my order in store just in case I needed advice, for the people are so warm and attentive. Ordering on the website was efficient and within 3 days it was ready for the pick up. In and out of the store in 10 minutes. Lovely:)
