I made the switch to JB Hollow Core because my brand new spool of Momoi Diamond braid snapped like sewing thread as I was loading my Tiagra 30W. I am impressed with the quality of the line so far. I was easily able to splice the JB on my solid spectra backing line ( Suffix 832) and smoothly load over 500 yards with ease. I am confident this line will serve me well for years. Next time I need a spool of braid, I'm putting JB at the top of my list.

I’m using JB solid and hollow for all my reels - from 20# in fresh water to 100# on a Mac 20. Knot tying and splicing are great. I have less binding on the reels and it casts very well. Buy direct - they deserve it.
